Dear all,

just wanted to drop a note of thanks for your performance at SYF yesterday. I know we are all very sad and disappointed and the twist of fate. But i personally feel that the choir did well. you exercised control and did not let the music control you. God was with us throughout the whole event, despite the results we are thankful to Him.
Sec 4 leaders: U did a GREAT job. I am very proud of you, in terms of leading the choir in ALL things big and small
Sec 3 leaders: despite taking a less frontline role during this SYF, I am glad for your support you showed to your leaders, to me and to the choir
ALL of you : u exerised a lot of unity thro'out this process that no choirs i know showed, that is more important
the SENIORS and YANG Kai: thank you very much for your unwavering support. You have been a pillar of strength to the us all, thro good times and bad times. Really appreciate it.

HEY ALL ! finally syf is over , though is sad but its a fruitful experience for all of us. We grew mature , stronger and gain much much more experience than ever.Like yangkai said , the result is just a bonus and it doesn't matter much as we know we did our very best already. The standard have truly risen as you all can see. Competition is getting fiercer in singapore , so the
criteria would increase too.BUT ! DON'T BE AFRAID ! Keep growing ! Don't give up ! Sec2s , 2 years later ! do our choir and phs proud again !

THESE GAMES WILL BE PLAYED ON FRIDAY AND HERE ARE THE RULES FOR THE GAME.

1) Hunter is the stupidest thing on earth. (20-25mins *depending how clever are the hunters and gurus and polars are.) - 3 groups will be playing.first those played before first.than will be the choir ppl. lastly will be the 4E5Ns.instructions are given below.
- in this game, everyone will be one of the three characters, which are Guru, Hunters or Polar Bears. - The Game Master will first select who to be the Polar bears, with everybody's heads down.
- Next, the Game Master will select the Guru.
- The polar bears will then be able to identify each other when the game master instruct the polar bears to lift up their heads.
- the Game Master will then point out to the Guru who are the polar bears
- everybody will den heads up, and the game starts - everyone will start thinking and say out the people that they want to kill. - as the guru noes who are the polar bears, the guru can act, by killing other ppl instead of the polar bears, in order not
to let the polar bears be aware that he/she is the guru. - the polar bears can oso act, by killing ur own polar bears when u see that all the votes are against that polar bear, cuz
it is better to sacrifice one polar bear then to let others realized that u are a polar bear too.
- the game is up to each individual to control, and have some brains to noe who are the polar bears, hunters and guru. - the polar bears win when the guru is kill, the guru and hunters win when the polar bears are all killed. - the winners of each round will compete with each other to determine the final winner, whether the polar bear wins or the
guru and hunter wins
- then they will use the most traditional way to determine the final winner! - everyone might be acting, soooo.. all the best.

HEYHEY dear UVPHS-ians,

As most of you are aware now, the CHALET is coming soon!
and well, we've been squeezing every bits of our brain cells to come up with some games and activities that we can all enjoy for the 3D2N (and of cuz, for those coming for BBQ ones oso!).
For the details of the activities etc, we shall keep it as a mystery first! u guys shall just enjoy when u're there on that day! =D
So anyone feel lyk staying instead of going for just the BBQ now? HAHA. u're warmly welcomed to! =D

However, there are some changes regarding the price for those staying and those going for BBQ only.
We've somehow calculated that, the (chalet price+the price of food for 2 nights) divde by the number of people going, it's somehow more than wad Jiajun had written here the other time.

Pls note that the price for those staying and going for BBQ are as follow:
People Staying: ~~$14~~ $20
People going for BBQ only: $7 $8

For the price of change, it's because our dearest JJ has KINDLY undertstated the price. haha.. as for those who went for chalet b4.. u noe... $14 is kinda impossible to pay for all expenses? yupp.. so hope u all can understand. =)

For those staying, dun worry. the amt covered food for both nights.
For those going for BBQ only, come on the Saturday, 2nd September 2006.
We'll let u all noe the meeting time and location again, thru this blog and sms. =)

We will be collecting the money on Teachers' Day celebration, in order to faciliate us to purchase the food and stuffs. no worries, any additional cost will DEFINITELY be fully refunded! =D

its CHALET time... i've asked Yang Kai to ask Wei Shing to help us book the NSRCC cuz we werent able to book the Aloha Loyag de... so its smaller yea... this chalet is for all members of uvPHS[ALUMNIs are all welcomed] =) pls come kaes... its from the 1st day of ur holiday... those who are not able to stay overnight at least come for the bbq which is on the sunday k? sec 4's taking o's this year pls come and relax and have fun for a day of two...

this chalet will not be like the past where we do our own things... we'll come out with some activities for u all kaes? i will post more about the chalet next time when i have more information... eg the address and the time we meeting...

About how much to pay...

those staying overnight would most probably have to pay $14[includes bbq] while those just coming for the bbq will most probably pay $7...

hello! jj here... 1st entry on the blog! hahas... CHORISTER's COTTAGE CHOIR CAMP 2006 was FUN & HIGH rite? lols... for myself i definitely had ALOT of fun & laughter... cheers for everyone! i will upload some photos here from wanqi's cam... those who have more pls ask me for user id and pw so u all can upload and blog too... =) one thing u guys MUST rmb... other than playing hard, u guys must work hard also! prove to Miss Yee, Mrs Wong, Miss Chung, Miss Low, Mr Wong(Yang Kai) that u guys can make it for SYF 2007! remind each other to pay attention during practices and give in all u have to wad Miss Yee want... i believe that all of u have passion for singing so other than having fun singing together, aim for achieve success in singing!
